Muhammad is interested in exploring different field theoretic models with the current NISQ era quantum machines. He is also currently working on exploring AdS-CFT correspondence in the lattice setting. Previously he worked on gauge theoretic formulation of gravity in two dimension and explored dynamical triangulation of gravity in four spacetime dimensions.

Fernando Cruz Aguirre is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar shared between the Hoadley UV Space Lab (HUSL) and the DeRoo Research Group. His research interests include the ultraviolet radiation environments around stars smaller than, similar to, and a bit larger than the Sun, and their impact on planetary habitability. He is also interested in optical design and technology development for space missions.

Matthew Finley is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the Miles Research Lab. He received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Iowa in 2021, where he developed novel techniques for 3D range geometry compression. Finley's research interests include applied signal processing, digital image processing, and system optimization.

Diksha Garg is interested in the field of particle physics. She is currently working with Dr. Mary Hall Reno on a project to determine tau particle's polarization which are produced from the high energy cosmic neutrinos skimming through the earth. She has also worked with Dr. Usha Mallik in hardware and software development for the upcoming high-luminosity upgrade of the inner tracker of the ATLAS experiment at CERN.

Kenneth Heitritter is interested in research that explores different approaches to the quantization of gravitational phenomena and their corresponding phenomenology. Currently, he works with Professor Vincent Rodgers on a project which extends projective structures in two-dimensional quantum gravity to a setting of four-dimensional spacetime.

Matthew's research has focused on studying the 3D morphology and dust properties of the remnants of supernova explosions at X-ray and infrared wavelengths.

Dr. Tharnier O. Puel's interests are in Theoretical Solid State Physics. He studied low-temperature physics in the subject of topological properties of matter. In the last years, he contributed to advances in non-equilibrium spin systems at zero temperature. Currently, he started his studies in optical transduction using cavities QED, at the University of Iowa.

Han-Wen is interested in conducting space physics research with satellite and ground-based observations. His current research focuses on exploring the plasma dynamics around the Lunar environment.

Joe Sink is working with Dr. Craig Pryor and is interested in modeling the electronic properties of novel Solid-State devices using theoretical models such as Tight-Binding and DFT. His current research is directed towards understanding the unique properties of wurtzite and zinc blende nanowire heterostructures.

Dustin Swarm is interested in high energy astrophysics and the application of machine learning in astronomy. He is currently working with Prof. Casey DeRoo studying X-ray sources in the Galactic center found using an outlier detection algorithm.
