"Active Galactic Nuclei and Relativistic Jets: A GR Approach"

Abstract: Active Galactic Nuclei and relativistic jets appear to be feature of accretion by central supermassive black holes. In this talk, I will discuss the Blandford-Znajek process: how electromagnetic energy may be extracted from the Kerr spacetime with currents provided fro the accretion disk.
