Heather has been with the University of Iowa (UI) for 24 years and has worked in the Department of Physics & Astronomy for the last 21 years, currently serving as Departmental Administrator.

She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration and Human Resource Management from Mount Mercy University, Cedar Rapids Iowa.

She has served in various University and Collegiate committees/councils across campus including President of UI Staff Council, the Strategic Plans Faculty and Staff Success Development Team and various high level leadership searches.
