The Department of Physics and Astronomy hosted the second annual Acevedo Poster Contest March 4, giving participating students a chance to show how they used computing resources, tools, or techniques in their research.

Professor Greg Howes, Director of Research Operations, served as judge and was highly complimentary of all posters presented. "We had a number of very good posters from the graduate and undergraduate students, and the competition was stiff,"  he said.
