Graduate student Kenny Buffo was awarded an honorable mention for "Best Student Poster Presentation" at the American Astronomical Society's High Energy Astrophysics Division meeting, March 26-30, 2023.

He was honored along with three other presenters from among the 150 posters presented at the conference. Buffo presented recent work on the measurement and characterization of adjustable X-ray optics, research he performs with Prof. Casey DeRoo.
