The Department of Biology is continuing our Career Seminar Series where we will have alumni give a talk to current students about their career and experiences. Our next and final career seminar speaker of the semester is Chelle Lehman (B.A. in Biology, 2002). Chelle is currently the Program Manager of Iowa KidSight in the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences at University of Iowa Health Care. Her talk will be held on Tuesday, April 28 at 5:30 p.m. in Room 106, Biology Building East (BBE). In this talk titled, "Redefining Success: My Nonlinear Path from Biology to Public Health," Chelle will discuss how a biology degree can lead to many paths, why careers aren't linear, transferable skills every biology major builds, how to align your work with your values, and what public health looks like in action.

All students are invited!
