Implementation of Digitized lambda phi(x)**4 Models On Quantum Computers

Paul Zelle

One of the potential applications of quantum computing is the simulation of quantum systems. The real-time evolution of certain quantum field theory models may be performed more efficiently on quantum computers than via perturbation theory. In this talk, I will examine a lambda phi(x)**4 model in quantum field theory, focusing on how it can be digitized for execution on a quantum computer.
