To be admitted to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, a student should complete the following in high school: four years of English, two years of a single foreign language, three years of science, three years of social studies, two years of algebra, and one year of geometry. The Department of Physics and Astronomy strongly suggests taking at least one more year of higher mathematics, such as calculus, trigonometry, or analysis.
Professor Cornelia Lang is the Director of Undergraduate Studies for the Department of Physics & Astronomy.
