Probing the Renormalization-Group Domain Wall between Minimal Models

Cameron Cogburn, PhD; Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

Renormalization group domain walls ("RG branes") are a way to learn about the relation between different quantum theories. D. Gaiotto made an explicit, algebraic proposal for the RG brane between two conformal field theory minimal models. We construct this RG brane and explicitly compute two-point functions in the presence of it. In doing so, we focus on many mathematical details of this calculation using the algebraic construction for minimal models and their tensor product that were omitted in the previous (physics) talk.
