A a non-linear conformal quasi-local mass in asymptotically hyperbolic spaces and its extensions

Associate Professor Hao Fang; Department of Mathematics, University of Iowa

This is a joint work with Wei Wei. For asymptotically hyperbolic 4-disc with a conformal metric, we define a quasi-local mass that corresponds to a new type of energy density and establish a mass-type inequality and the corresponding Penrose inequality. We will also discuss extensions to general dimensions from a mathematical point of view.
